Description

ABSTRACT This paper examines the effects of gender on students' perceptions of and experiences with group assignments. The motivation for the paper was based on the premise that group learning is an important component of undergraduate business education and that there is a difference between males and females in the way these group assignments are perceived. Even though ample literature exists related to gender differences, no studies could be found that examined the effects of gender on students' perceptions of group tasks.
